Fender recently teamed up with viral bassist Blu DeTiger for a brand new, predictably blue signature Fender Jazz bass. If you missed it, you can check out DeTiger’s demo of the bass via Sweetwater below.
The Blu DeTiger Jazz Bass offers an offset, chambered Ash body with a satin finished Maple neck, bound 9.5″ Rosewood fingerboard and vintage tall frets. The Blu DeTiger Jazz Bass comes loaded with a Blu DeTiger Fireball bass humbucker and Player Plus Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups, a 18V Player Plus preamp with 3-band EQ and active/passive toggle, and of course a dazzling Sky Burst Sparkle.
“This bass is a reflection of everything I love about playing,” said DeTiger. “I wanted an instrument that could handle the diversity of sounds I create, from deep, funky grooves to melodic lines that cut through the mix.
