BLACK SABBATH’s Geezer Butler Has a Signature DUNLOP Cry Baby Bass Wah, Finally

Black Sabbath’s own Geezer Butler – a band and a bassist we owe just about everything to – has teamed up with Dunlop to design the first signature Cry Baby bass wah pedal. Noted as the first bass player to ever record with a wah, it’s remarkable it’s taken the man this long to earn a signature; better late than never, as they say, and he’s most definitely earned it.

Voiced for bass and Geezer’s chosen specs, this wah’s bound to become a go-to for bassists in the stoner/sludge/doom realm and beyond. In the segment above, you can hear the pedal in action, as well as Geezer reminiscing about the early days and his decision to pursue music.
