Ibanez is now streaming a brand new demo of their affordable Ibanez AZ22S1F, featuring the incredible skills of Peta Lukács.
The Ibanez AZ22S1F offers lightweight Flamed Maple/Alder body, Roasted Maple neck, and the intuitive dyna-MIX9 switching system, this HSS-configured axe is ready for players who need high-performance features without losing sight of classic feel.
At its core, the Ibanez AZ22S1F delivers a dynamic tonal spectrum thanks to a trio of Ibanez Classic Custom pickups. The Alnico single coils in the neck and middle offer warmth, chime, and tight response, while the ceramic bridge humbucker provides the punch and output needed for modern rock and fusion tones. Whether you’re after vintage snap, thick crunch, or everything in between, this set has you covered.
Ibanez’s dyna-MIX9 switching system unlocks nine distinct sounds, including coil-splitting and clever combinations like a simulated humbucker tone from two single coils. The mini Alter Switch makes it easy to flip between voices on the fly, giving you studio-level flexibility without extra pedals or processing.
The Ibanez AZ22S1F‘s Roasted Maple neck not only looks great with its caramel hue but adds exceptional stability, moisture resistance, and a crisp, dry feel under the fingers. Paired with a Jatoba fretboard, 22 jumbo stainless steel frets, and a 305mm radius, the neck offers smooth playability from low-position chords to high-register soloing. The Super All Access Neck Joint ensures you can reach those upper frets without compromise.
On the hardware side of the Ibanez AZ22S1F, the T106 tremolo bridge features six independently adjustable saddles for precise intonation and setup, while locking machine heads keep tuning rock solid – even through aggressive whammy use. A sleek chrome hardware package rounds out the build, offering both visual polish and dependable performance.
