Abasi Concepts – the company owned and operated by Animals As Leaders guitarist Tosin Abasi – has unveiled their first-ever bass, and it’s headless! Abasi Concepts has posted a teaser video for their new Larada Bass below, with not much other information available.
From what we can see in the video, the basses come with a 24-fret neck, two Fishman Fluence Multi-Voice pickups, and four finishes – Red, Black, Gray, and some kinda Natural finish. As with other Abasi Concepts guitars, the Larada Bass employs a fanned-fret neck and that sorta weird Holdsworth-ey offset body.
“We’re extremely excited to announce the Larada Bass – expanding our signature aesthetics, ergonomics, and playability to a whole new audience of creators and performers,” wrote Abasi Concepts about the bass.
