Homie Ola Englund was the recipient of a well-deserved and super sick signature guitar from Washburn that debuted at NAMM last year – the Solar. It features (depending on the model) an Evertune bridge, ebony fretboard, quartersawn maple neck, Seymour Duncan pickups, and a badass design.
This year at NAMM, Washburn unveiled some cool new finishes and modifications to the Solar, most notably a secret set of Solar pickups that have been cooked up in the Seymour Duncan lab and are so new that Ola himself was sworn to secrecy.
