Tech-death metal act Soreption are definitely one of these bands to be on the lookout for. The Swedish four-piece have been shredding minds since the release of their debut EP Illuminate the Excessive back in 2007, and are set to release their third full-length album Monument of the End on August 3rd via Sumerian Records. To give us a little something while we count down the days, the dudes have unfurled this music video for the song “Children of the Automaton”.
Like most Soreption songs, this track is chock-full of technical guitar passages, unrelenting blast beats, and tight-as-fuck production. If you’re a fan of technical death metal, this little diddy has just about everything you’ll ever want in one song. The video itself was also directed by Igor Omodei, who captured the unsettling mad scientist vibe perfectly. Neither the song nor the video lets you go until the very end, and that is not something we take for granted.
