Blackened-Deathy-Hardcore fiends, Black Breath, recently recorded this live in-studio set for The Waiting Room video series. They threw-down filthy performances of “The Flame” (from their 2012 sophomore album Sentenced To Life) and “Slaves Beyond Death” (off the 2015 album of the same name).
If you haven’t seen this video series before, Sam Pura (ace producer and cybernetic organism expert) picks a band to come down and perform a set in The Panda Studios live room. Sam tracks the live performance, and works his mixing magic, while a video team captures the whole thing. The result; a studio-quality recording and word class production with a live performance vibe. It’s a feckin’ sick idea.
Speaking of top tier producers… Black Breath’s latest album, Slaves Beyond Death, is available over at their bandcamp. That one was recorded by Kurt Ballou, so pick that shit up if you haven’t got it yet. It sounds mint.
And, if you’re into it, The Waiting Room has a bunch of other tight sets from bands like Code Orange Kids and Stray From The Path, over at their website.
