Trevor Strnad is the hero that metal doesn’t deserve, but he doesn’t give a shit and sticks around anyway. Sure, he sounds like barfing dog on stage (in the best possible way) and sure he has a pentagram tattooed on his palm, but he’s a pretty great dude. He is constantly plugging awesome underground metal bands, and the guy just seems so chummy, heck, I’d take him home to meet my parents! Last week, he sat down with URM Academy and talked about being in a band from the very bottom, member changes, professionalism and just about everything in between.
Trevor’s been through the ringer. He has been in the thick of the metal scene for over fifteen years, so there’s some wisdom in these two hours, and you best soak up as much as you can if you’re a band starting out. The guy knows what the hell he’s talking about.
