Although I was underwhelmed by Pale Communion after Opeth set such a high standard with their previous few albums, something feels different about the upcoming Sorceress. The title, imagery, and vibe from clips I’ve heard so far suggest an album closer to what Opeth excel at (mystique) than what they’ve been molding themselves towards (just plain prog).
