Have you ever wanted to own a piece of rock history? Do you have $80,000 and poor money management skills? Well you could own Slash’s guitar! No, not that one.
Slash’s red BC Rich Warlock, that he used in the early days, is going up for auction on November 5th at Julien’s Auctions in LA. They think it’ll sell for $80k. But who knows? Maybe you could score yourself a bargain. It’d be a pretty neat conversation piece for the old rumpus room.
I know it’s not the famous Les Paul, but it turns out he used this guitar to write some of their biggest songs (Welcome To The Jungle, Sweet Child Of Mine). And some even say, if you use a thin enough razor-blade in the right humidity, you can scrape enough coke residue from the fretwire for a sizable, uncut, 80s-strength bump.
…Well okay, maybe not. But still. There might be some hit song inspiration left in this thing. Or you could encase it in Perspex and hope that it appreciates in value. Whatevs, your call.

Hell of a cut out for a hard rocker, shows you the brand and shape don’t matter at all when writing killer riffs.

For real. BC Rich guitars have gone through a lot of players hands, in loads of different metal/rock genres over the years
