Like many of you, I’m a huge fan of drummer Thomas Pridgen, one of the most dynamic players in music today, who’s worked with bands like Trash Talk, The Mars Volta, Thundercat, Suicidal Tendencies, and the long-gestating supergroup led by Ben Weinman and Brent Hinds, Giraffe Tongue Orchestra.
I enjoy Pridgen’s playing clips he blasts to Instagram as much as his actual bands, mainly because its cool to hear someone so loose and spontaneous just rip. Which he did yesterday during a soundcheck in Brazil – check the clips out below.
