I needed some inspiration – this pedal served it up.

As a certified Serious Artistâ„¢, I often find myself really bogged down in all the deep parts of music creation – arrangement, song craft, lyrics, orchestration, solos – and although it’s very enjoyable for me, it’s not always fun.

After spending the last few months bogged down in all the promo for the In Virtue album release as well as my super secret songwriting gig (more on that later) for which I wrote 11 songs in a month, I was ready to just have some fun making music.

So today’s video is all about just that! I got a wild new pedal (the Polyend MESS) and I put breakbeats, bass, and guitar all through it to see what I could make it do – for no reason beyond making cool sounds that I would like.
