If you play guitar and aren’t a hundred years old, you know who Herman Li is, and even if you’re not a big metalhead, you are at least aware of the mighty DragonForce. That a power metal band of that stripe became a household name is a testament to their extreme flair for the outrageous, not the least of which is the over-the-top guitar pageantry of Herman and co-guitarist Sam Totman.
More recently, Herman has been finding success on a new platform – streaming on Twitch, where you can find a number of metal musicians doing the same (myself included). And today at 1pm PST/4pm EST, we’ll be joining forces on Herman’s channel to hang out and do a stream together!
