King Crimson Give A Rare Look Into their Rehearsal Studio

I for one am pretty stoked about the resurgence in recent years of King Crimson. I thought their last album, 2003’s The Power to Believe, is a great piece of work that stands alongside and apart from the rest of their discography in the uniquely King Crimson way.

Although I haven’t had a chance to see the current incarnation of the band live, I’ve heard their shows are great as usual – high quality playing, spontaneous improvisation, and insane chops. King Crimson have also been pretty active online, making their YouTube channel a unique window into the lifeblood of the band, with behind-the-scenes clips, archival footage, and mini-documentaries.

You can view three of those windows below, captured by engineer Trev Wilkins, which are time-lapse clips of the band rehearsing for their first full U.K. tour since 1982 (!!) and an interview with Robert Fripp. Check em out:
