Watch A 10-Year-Old Interview Ed Repka About Making Thrash Metal Art

Party Smasher, Inc, the new venture from Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Ben Weinman, has been recruiting some top-tier talent to their roster, including the young journalist Elliott Fullam of Little Punk People. Elliott’s already got a number of classic interviews under his belt, including with a Nameless Ghoul from Ghost, the dudes at Metal Injection, MetalSucks and Vertebrae 33, his Jedi-Guru Weinman, and more.

Elliott has now added to his list a really interesting interview with Ed Repka, the great artist behind classic works for Megadeth, Dark Angel, Death, Evildead, Municipal Waste, 3 Inches of Blood, and a billion more. As usual, the talk is on point, touching nicely on Repka’s thoughts on style, his career history, how he relates to his work, and more, including a tour through a variety of mediums and works that he has produced.

It’s refreshing to hear such a loose talk with someone whose artistic voice has been a mainstay in metal for decades and decades. Check it out!
