STEAKSAUCE MUSTACHE Drop Heavy Load With “DENIM DIAPER DADDIES”

Hailing from Medford, Oregon, STEAKSAUCE MUSTACHE describes their music genre as “Chaotic Partycore”, and that feels pretty much spot on. It makes me feel like I’m shotgunning a beer, crowd killing, stage diving, and crowd surfing, all simultaneously while having a violent bout of diarrhea.

STEAKSAUCE MUSTACHE is a special brand of madness, together enough to sound cohesive, heavy, and groovy, but their delivery is genuinely and utterly loony. Check out the video for “DENIM DIAPER DADDIES” off of their upcoming new album SuperWoke above for reference.

Throughout all of their content, I get the impression that these dudes are just this way, that their wheels are still turning but the mice have left a long time ago. I really wanted to find more background on their band, because I’m really curious to explore the environmental factors that facilitate the creation of a band like this. What was their scene like? What was their town like? What was their favorite food growing up? Which one was abducted by aliens? Were they probed? Which one was visited by apparitions of Richard Nixon? What did he say? How have all these things affected their music?

I don’t know if I’ll ever know the answers to all these questions, but maybe you can find out for me. They’re currently on tour, and I have a feeling their live show should be akin to my description in the beginning, so definitely drop by one of their dates.
