Rivers Of Nihil’s New Drummer Alan Balamut Tries His Hand at Rain Eating

In case you’re not hip on the hot metal news, Rivers Of Nihil‘s drummer Ron Nelson has left the band. Presumably upon his exit he rode the Nihil’s current into the River Styx and into the welcoming arms of Anubis.  Well don’t mourn for his bandaged and preserved corpse, because the band has summoned Bahamut Alan Balamut to take his place.

To prove his worth to the ever-judgmental spirit realm, where nothing has form and all is smoke, the band has released this playthrough video of Alan laying waste to the song “Rain Eater”

Chris Alfano has written about music and toured in bands since print magazines and mp3.com were popular. Once in high-school he hacked a friend's QBasic stick figure fighting game to add a chiptune metal soundtrack. Random attractive people still give him high-fives about that.
