In anticipation of their upcoming record Circadian, which is set to be released on November 13th, 2020, Canadian instrumental act Intervals have been releasing a series of sick playthroughs for the singles they’ve released so far. And now, drummer Nathan Bulla has got us PUMPED with this latest drum playthrough for the track “Lock & Key” — check it!
In case it wasn’t already obvious, Nathan is an absolute beast behind the kit. “Lock & Key” has a lot going on in the drum department, but Nathan powers through it all with ease while simultaneously seeing the tune’s infectious hook and punk-like energy to the very end. And if the song itself weren’t enough to get you crowd surfing in your bedroom, Nathan’s facial expression should definitely help do the trick. To quote YouTube commenter BlanketStatement, “Looks like he learned drumming from the Matt Halpern School of Orgasm Drum Face”, and yup, that pretty much sums it up for us.
