Leave it to Zildjian to make you feel like an inferior human being. They just posted this in-studio video of Hour of Penance’s James Payne, bringing the… agony to the drum heads in front of him. That footwork especially is damn impressive. I’m sure that some pedalslinger out there is faster, and will one day take him down, but until that day the bodies of contenders will line the dusty ground like so much horse shit and discarded tobacco.

Using the “swivel” technique on the kicks. George Kollias is a bit better. He has some instructional vids on the technique as well. It obviously works:)
