HAIL THE SUN – “Burn Nice And Slow” Guitar Playthrough

Check out Hail the Sun guitarists, Aric Garcia and Shane Gann, rip through “Burn Nice and Slow (The Formative Years)” in this playthrough. Hail the Sun are a California-based post-hardcore outfit who put out their latest effort, Culture Scars, this past summer. “Burn Nice and Slow (The Formative Years)” comes in as the album’s seventh track, and you can peep the guitar playthrough right here:

All the action takes place in a pretty tasty-looking studio, not to the mention that fine-ass Bogner that’s rigged up. Mamma mia. Right, the guitar’ing is top-notch too, but let’s all be real here and admit we’re way more concerned with the toolbox in play. But, if for some weird reason gear ogling during playthroughs isn’t your thing, there’s also a music video for this track.

These guys cite some fairly eclectic influences, from Radiohead to Glassjaw, so I’d say they’ve done a bang-up job of channeling said influences into a coherent sound of their own. If you’ve yet to hop on the Hail the Sun train, head over to iTunes and sample the rest of Culture Scars. If you’re ready to take your fanship to the next level, get yourself hooked the fuck up with some merchy goodness.
