ENTHEOS – Navene Koperweis – ‘Perpetual Miscalculations’ Live Playthrough

God damnit do I love watching this man work. Navene Koperweis is one of the most satisfying drummers to watch, and he demonstrates his extreme ability and stellar feel in service of the Entheos song “Perpetual Miscalculations” from their album The Infinite Nothing (available now both in both digital and physical formats)

The best part about it is that not only is the video one continuous (flawless) take with no edits of any kind – it’s all acoustic drums and cymbals. No triggers, no samples or layering, no sound replacement or anything. I’m sure some neckbeards will find something to complain about, but it’s not going to be the legitimacy of the performance contained herein.

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
