The New EBMM St. Vincent Models Look Cool as Hell

I’ve long been a fan of the Ernie Ball Music Man St. Vincent signature guitars, and the new Goldie line has done absolutely nothing to sway me. Much like its predecessor, these things look unconventional and cool as hell!

The Goldie features a lightweight okoume body, roasted figured maple neck with reversed headstock, and a rosewood or ebony fretboard depending on which body color you choose. The Goldie also features three newly-designed Ernie Ball Music Man gold foil mini humbucking pickups and an intuitive 5-way switching arrangement to give you a variety of tones. Unfortunately none of these things will allow you to sing like St. Vincent, but most of us can’t anyway. So don’t worry about it.

The Goldie switches things up a bit from its earlier version with a 3-ply parchment pickguard now underneath the pickups for a more traditional aesthetic. Combined with its unique body shape, stainless steel frets, chrome hardware, and a smooth-action, the Goldie simply kicks ass.

The Goldie is available in Cashmere (seen below), Velveteen, and Silk Charmeuse for $2,999. Pre-orders are available here.
