Kramer is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the launch of the Malina Moye Pacer Deluxe, a new signature guitar developed with acclaimed guitarist, singer, and songwriter Malina Moye. Finished in Splash Blue with gold hardware, the model combines Kramer’s performance-focused heritage with Moye’s distinctive blend of rock, blues, soul, and funk.
“I really wanted to make sure it was perfect – a completely different type of Kramer,” Moye says in the guitar’s launch video. “And you know what? I think we nailed something really hot.”
The release also marks a milestone for the brand, with Moye becoming Kramer’s first woman of color signature artist. Known for her upside-down, left-handed playing style, she has spent more than 15 years building an international career through festival appearances, major sporting events, and worldwide touring, earning a devoted following across the UK and Europe.
The Malina Moye Pacer Deluxe is built around a Maple neck with a skunk stripe and an HSS pickup configuration featuring DiMarzio electronics. A Virtual Vintage Blues pickup occupies the neck position, an Area 67 sits in the middle, and a Super Distortion humbucker handles bridge duties.
The pickups are controlled via a five-way blade switch, while a master volume and dedicated tone controls for the neck and middle pickups offer additional tonal flexibility.
Other appointments include a Kramer modern two-point non-locking vibrato, Kramer locking tuners, Gold knurled control knobs, and a tortoiseshell pickguard.
Reflecting Moye’s signature playing style, the guitar is available in both right- and left-handed versions. Each instrument also includes a premium Kramer gig bag featuring a reproduction of Moye’s signature.
