STRYMON Expands Their All-Analog Series A Line With Canoga Vintage Silicon Fuzz Pedal

Strymon is taking a deliberately different path with the Canoga Vintage Silicon Fuzz, in that it’s pretty stripped back. That means no MIDI, no USB, no menus. Just two knobs an whatever the hell you come up with. That’s on your.

At first glance, the Canoga couldn’t be more straightforward. Two controls – Drive and Level – handle everything. Drive takes you from lightly textured grit to full, saturated fuzz, while Level ensures you can match or push your amp as needed. That’s it. But that simplicity is deceptive.

Where the Canoga truly stands apart is its touch sensitivity. It reacts dynamically to both picking strength and your guitar’s volume knob, turning what could be a static fuzz into a highly expressive instrument.

Roll your guitar volume back, and the pedal cleans up in a remarkably musical way while still retaining bite, clarity, and harmonic edge. Push it forward, and it blooms into thick, harmonically rich fuzz that still responds to nuance in your attack.

Built from a modified version of an original Gregg Stock-designed fuzz circuit, the Canoga leans into classic silicon character while refining stability and consistency for modern use.
