SOLAR GUITARS’ New T1.6AN Looks Like an Evil Telecaster

Solar Guitars, the brand owned and operated by Ola Englund (Feared, The Haunted), is back with a new guitar that looks like an evil Telecaster.

The T1.6AN features an Evertune constant-tension bridge, Duncan Solar pickups with five-way blade pickup switching, a set-thru neck/body joint design with 25.5” scale, an alder body with distressed metal pick guard, a fast, thin, comfortable maple neck, an ebony fingerboard with 24 stainless steel super-jumbo frets, and luminlay glow in the dark side dots. This is all presented on a beautifully aged swamp ash finish.

Of course, while the T1.6AN looks like a Telecaster tried real hard to join a death metal band, the tone is not at all try-hard. The damn thing will melt your face clean off. Though what else did you expect from Ola Englund? Dude has proven time and time again that he’s real good at effortlessly bringing some serious heaviness to the table.

The T1.6AN is simply the newest installment of the T Series. There’s the jet black T1.6C and the T1.6FRBOP, the latter of which features a more natural finish and a Floyd Rose 1000, and the seven-string T1.7TBR.

Check ’em out here and pre-order the T1.6AN for $1.199,00.
