After much teasing a slow roll-out, PRS has unveiled the John Mayer SE Silver Sky. The SE Silver Sky is available now for $849, making it a much more affordable version of the original version that’ll run you $2,549. And what would a unveil be without a handful of demos?
The SE Silver Sky features a Poplar body, bolt-on Maple neck with Rosewood fretboard and 22 frets, and a synthetic bone nut alongside a 2-point steel tremolo. The SE Silver Sky comes with three 635JM “S” pickups controlled by a Volume and two Tone knobs with a 5-Way Blade Pickup Switch. The SE Silver Sky is available in Moon White, Dragon Fruit, Ever Green, and Stone Blue finishes.
