GIBSON Finally Releases Production Version Of Adam Jones’ Signature Les Paul

Gibson originally launched their Custom Shop Adam Jones 1979 Les Paul Custom in 2020, which cost anywhere between $5,999 and $9,999 depending on which version you got. And while this new Jones model isn’t the cheaper Epiphone version many people are waiting for, it’s certainly the cheapest one we’ve seen thus far.

The production model of the Jones features a Mahogany body and Maple top with lacquer Antique Silverburst finish, and Mahogany neck with Ebony fingerboard. The Standard forgoes the Custombucker neck pickup and Seymour Duncan DDJ bridge pickup for a BurstBucker 1 and a DC high-gain humbucker. This is still a pretty solid tradeoff considering the differential in price.

The Gibson Adam Jones Les Paul Standard is available here for $2,999.
