FENDER Rolls Out New Cory Wong, J. Mascis & Kurt Cobain Signature Models

Fender just introduced brand new signature models for Vulfpeck guitarist Cory Wong, Dinosaur Jr. guitarist J. Mascis, and the late and great Nirvana guitarist Kurt Cobain.

The Cory Wong Stratocaster features an Alder body, a Modern “D” shape Maple neck with 22 frets, and Rosewood fingerboard with White Dot inlays. The Cory Wong Stratocaster comes loaded with a Seymour Duncan Cory Wong Clean Machine Custom Stack Plus in the bridge alongside a Seymour Duncan Cory Wong Clean Machine Single Coil in the middle and neck positions. Much like a regular Strat, the Cory Wong allows you to switch between pickups thanks to its three-position blade selector.

The J. Mascis Telecaster is modeled after Mascis’ original 1958 top-loader Telecaster and features an Alder body, a “C” shape Maple neck with 21 frets, and Rosewood fingerboard with Black Dot inlays. The J. Mascis Telecaster comes loaded with two J. Mascis Custom ’58 Tele Single-Coils, and a three-position selector switch.

The J. Mascis Telecaster comes in a Dazzling Blue Sparkle finish and is available here for $1,299.99.

The Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang is modeled after Cobain’s 1993 custom shop guitar and features an Alder body, a Slim “C” shape Maple neck with 22 frets, and Rosewood fingerboard with White Pearloid Dot inlays. The Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang comes loaded with a Jag-Stang Humbucking and Single-Coil pickups, and two three-position pickup on/off-on-out phase slide switches.

The Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang comes in both Fiesta Red and Sonic Blue finishes in right and left-handed configurations, and is available here for $1,199.99.
