Positive Grid is currently running a sale on their 140-watt powered FRFR speaker cabinet, the Spark CAB. The cabinet usually runs $349, but is now a tidy $279 right here via the Positive Grid website.
The Spark CAB is powered by a Class D 140-watt amplifier section paired with a 10″ woofer and dual high-frequency dome tweeters. Together, they create a full-range flat-response platform intended to reproduce amp models and effects with as little coloration as possible.
That FRFR approach is crucial to reproducing the sound of modern amp simulations, cabinet emulations, reverbs, delays, and modulation effects exactly as intended. Even at higher volume levels, the cabinet maintains impressive clarity and low distortion, giving modeled rigs a more authentic “air-moving” feel that smaller desktop amps often struggle to replicate.
Connectivity is another area where Spark Cab punches above its weight. A dedicated 3.5mm stereo input is optimized specifically for Spark amplifiers, creating a seamless plug-and-play experience for existing Positive Grid users.
Beyond that, two combo XLR/TRS inputs allow the cabinet to accommodate dynamic microphones and line-level sources, making it flexible enough to integrate with modelers, floor processors, acoustic systems, and even small live setups.
There’s also a balanced XLR output for routing directly to front-of-house systems or daisy-chaining an additional Spark Cab for expanded stereo or stage coverage.
