Boss is taking their Katana line into the bass world, thanks to the brand new Katana-500 Bass Head.
The Katana-500 Bass Head is a compact 500-watt bass amplifier head with a newly developed Class D power amp, two Amp Feel settings, and a four-band EQ including low-mid and high-mid controls with three adjustable frequency settings. The Katana-500 Bass Head offers compressor and drive controls, each with three selectable types, and both a bottom knob to eliminate sub-bass rumble and a hi-cut button with three selectable frequencies.
The Katana-500 Bass Head offers a pad switch to optimize the input for high-output active pickups, and has an onboard memory for saving and recalling a custom setup with a touch. Better yet, you can edit all your tones and access over 60 effects with BOSS Tone Studio for Windows/macOS. The Katana-500 Bass Head has a USB connector for communicating with BOSS Tone Studio and audio recording and playback with your favorite DAW.
