“[This] guitar immediately felt super comfortable to me,” said Eller. “The neck profile is really nice here. It’s a little bit shreddy. It’s got a little bit of meat to it, which I like.

“Nice big frets, which is always a plus for me, too. The hard tail design makes it super easy to keep in tune. Those pickups sound great. It’s just a guitar that doesn’t have any features that you really don’t need. Let you get right down to shredding and riffing.”

Get it here for $1,399.99 in Gloss Black and Husk White with black hardware, as well as Oxblood and Kandy Green with gold hardware.

The EVH Wolfgang Special T.O.M offers up a Bolt-On Quartersawn Baked Maple neck that’s graphite-reinforced for stability and carved to Eddie Van Halen’s specifications, with a Satin Urethane finish on the back for friction-free playability. That, and the 12″-16″ compound radius Baked Maple fingerboard with 22 Jumbo frets ensures smooth navigation across the neck.

The Wolfgang Special T.O.M features a compensated bridge and tailpiece setup with fine tuners. This configuration prioritizes tuning stability, sustain, and a more traditional playing response.

The pickups are EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbuckers, mounted directly to the body for maximum resonance and sustain. They deliver the same articulate, high-output voice as the tremolo-equipped version, with tight rhythm definition and expressive lead capability that holds together under heavy gain.

Control-wise, the T.O.M maintains the same performance-focused layout. A 500K EVH Bourns Volume pot with Treble Bleed Circuit provides smooth dynamic control, while the 250K Bourns Tone pot is designed to resist accidental changes during performance, keeping your sound locked in throughout a set.
