A Wild NAMM Approaches: ESP Takes Its Turn to Announce New 2015 Guitar and Bass Models

It’s that time of year. Can you smell it? It wafts up like so much anticipation and molten metal. Winter NAMM is almost upon us, which means we are already in the season of announcement after announcement. Yesterday we already caught a glimpse of some of the new Schecter guitars, and now ESP is following that lead with three new models of its own.

On the high end of things there are a pair of beautiful 40th Anniversary Eclipse models,  in See Thru Black Sunburst and Tiger Eye finishes (see the right of the above image). ESP is describing these fine instruments as “extremely limited,” so best of luck to you if you wish to track one down.

For you mere mortals without the cash to drop on a limited run guitar, you can still channel the god-kings through some new signature instrument additions. The Gary Holt editions are cool mainly for being the rounded polar opposite to Kerry King’s Vs that are so share you could take your eye out, but also of note is the pair of 8-strings that bare the name of underrated Animals as Leaders guitarist Javier Reyes. Note the signature Reyes signature DiMarzio pickups on there as well.

There are numerous other models on display, including other updated signature guitars and basses from Frank Bello of Anthrax, Will Adler from Lamb of God, and Whitechapel’s Andy Crisp. Personally, I’m stoked to see another Evertune bridge in an affordable LTD guitar. Take a look at the EC-1000ETFM below.
