G4: JOE SATRIANI, TOMMY EMMANUEL, and PHIL COLLEN Have a Massive Blues Jam

The one-and-only Joe Satriani recently orchestrated a pretty rad instructional guitar camp called the 2017 G4 Experience in Pacific Grove, California. The event included some of the biggest names in the guitar world, like Tommy Emmanuel, Phil Collen, Paul Gilbert, and Warren DeMartini, just to name a few. With all these incredible shredders under one roof, we don’t really understand how the universe didn’t explode, but hey, we’ll take it!

As you can expect, this four-day event was jam-packed with plenty of workshops, recordings, nightly concerts, and of course, all the performances you could feast your eyes and ears on. For one night during the festivities, Joe Satriani, Tommy Emmanuel, and Phil Collen all joined forces to bring a pretty spectacular blues jam to the attendees. During the I-IV-V blues, the dudes trade some amazing solos, verses, and generally just have a blast doing so. And if you’re a tonehead like many of us are, you better hold onto your britches.
