MITHYA Threaten Mass “Extinction” In This New Exclusive Music Video

Twin Cities-based progressive metal act Mithya have been celebrating the release of their recent EP Of All, which hit the digital shelves everywhere this past June. Now, we here at Gear Gods have teamed up with the dudes themselves to premiere this exclusive music for their new song “Extinction”!

Right off the bat, the track smacks you with a pummeling rhythmic slurry of kick and down-tuned guitars that hit you right where you feel it. The band’s music up until this point has always been a great blend of driving grooves and soaring melodic elements, and “Extinction” takes it to a whole new level. The various vocal stylings from singer Lee Mintz’s keep you wanting more right up until the very end, and having the audio mixed and mastered by the one and only Drewsif means that the overall sound is deliciously dense, punchy and aggressive as hell. On top of that, the video was filmed by the talented Austin Scherzberg at the band’s EP release show in St. Paul, MN, and man oh MAN are there some great moments here. A win-win on all fronts!

Be sure to get Of All on Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, Tidal, and Deezer. And of course, don’t forget to follow these dudes on Facebook to keep up to date with all the latest tuneage and whatever sick news they have up their sleeves next!
