The Gear Gods & PRS Photoshop Contest – Win a Guitar!

Gear Mortals, this is a big one – we have teamed up with the one and only Paul Reed Smith guitar company to bring you a new contest for a seriously killer prize – this PRS 30th Anniversary SE Floyd Custom 24 Quilt Top!

Here’s how the contest works: we are looking for the best picture integrating the guitar. You can use Photoshop, Gimp, MS Paint – any program you like – OR you can even print out the guitar and glue it onto something. Any way you can get the guitar into a picture, then back onto the internet, is cool with us.

THEN! Upload the picture to Facebook. Not Twitter, not Instagram, not Friendster – FACEBOOK. Like & tag both the Gear Gods and PRS Guitars pages and use the hashtag #PRSGearGods.

This is very important – you must have your privacy settings so that we can see the pic. Otherwise, we can’t very well include it, can we?

Then you play the waiting game.

We the judges (from both PRS and Gear Gods) will be judging the entries based on the creativity and quality, not by number of likes, shares, upvotes, or anything else – it’s not a popularity contest. It can be funny, epic, bizarre, abstract, whatever – we’re just going to pick the best one.

The contest is open to US and Canada residents only.

Here’s some examples to get you started:

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
