Shure Launches MV6 USB Gaming Microphone Gen 2 With New White Finish

Shure has launched the MV6 USB Gaming Microphone Gen 2, an updated version of its gaming and streaming microphone with new audio controls and a white finish option. The microphone builds on the original MV6 with more customizable processing for gaming, streaming, and content creation.

The MV6 Gen 2 retains Shure’s Voice Isolation Technology while adding adjustable Auto Level Mode and a Real-Time Denoiser. Auto Level Mode keeps vocal volume consistent, with adjustable response speed and level settings, while the denoiser lets users control how aggressively the microphone reduces background noise from sources like fans, keyboards, and roommates.

Users can also customize their sound with a five-band equalizer or choose from Dark, Natural, and Bright EQ options. Additional features include a built-in digital pop filter and presets for speech, singing, and instruments. Settings can be configured through Shure’s free MOTIV desktop, tablet, and mobile apps, then saved directly to the microphone.

The MV6 Gen 2 connects via USB-C to PC, Mac, and compatible Android devices. It’s also MFi Certified for use with iPhone and iPad. Other features include a 3.5mm headphone output for zero-latency monitoring, a tap-to-mute button with a color-changing LED indicator, and a desktop stand with an isolation base to reduce vibrations. The stand’s universal 5/8-inch thread allows the microphone to be mounted on a compatible boom arm.

Both black and white versions include a matching desktop stand and a longer two-meter USB-C cable. The white model also features color-matched flocked foam with a velvety finish.

The Shure MV6 Gen 2 is available now for $169.
