One of my (and your, probably given you clicked on this)Â favorite record labels is Relapse. They lured me in as a teen/pre-pube with killer releases from bands like Mastodon, Dillinger Escape Plan, and Neurosis, and I’ve been a fan even as those bands have moved on with their careers.
One of the things I love about Relapse – in addition to their mixture of poppier metal/rock like Nothing and Baroness with absolutely gross and fucked up bands like The Drip and Columns – is that they are pretty consistent and regular with their video content.
Minsk have been getting a lot of love for their new album The Crash and the Draw, especially from our overlords. Maruta also get props… from somebody who you will never say that about your band, porn star Mia Khalifa. While Skinless are an iconic long-running New York death metal band.
