The WEM CCB-1 is a recreation of the classic tape echo preamp, the Watkins Copicat. The Watkins Copicat was originally popular in the ’60 and 70s thanks to artists like Robert Fripp, Rory Gallagher, and Phil Manzanera. The WEM CCB-1 seeks to recreate that boost and tone-shaping capabilities of the Copicat preamp in a modern, convenient format.
