TRIVIUM’s Matt Heafy Has A New Line Of EPIPHONE Guitars

Trivium frontman Matt Heafy has teamed up with Epiphone for the all-new MKH Custom Origins Collection. The collection offers Les Paul Custom models in both six- and seven-string configurations, as well as in both left- and right-handed options. All MKH Custom Origins Collection guitars will have a Maple-capped Mahogany body, Mahogany neck with SpeedTaper D profile, locking Grover Rotomatic tuners with Tulip buttons, and Gold hardware.

“With my approach to design and my approach to aesthetics, I always try to put just as much care in visuals – even though I’m not a visual artist – as I would the auditory art,” said Heafy. “It’s typically always been things that I can’t make are the things that inspire me the most: food [and] art. And in turn that helps feed the musical inspiration for me.”

The six-string MKH Custom Origins Collection is available for $1,099, while the seven-string is available for $1,199.
