Burls Art has made a ton of really interesting guitars over the years, from ones made of salt to ones comprised of colored pencils. Now Burls Art is back with a guitar made of Black Limba wood that clocks in at a 19mm body thickness. Which is utterly insane.

The guitar has been dubbed the Limba Blade and offers a Flame Maple fretboard, Lace Lowboy pickups, and Schaller 3D-6 Bridge. Despite just having been made and posted for $3,200, the guitar has sold. Gotta be quicker next time, y’all.

“Ever wanted a super thin guitar? Probably not. But if you have, here’s your chance. Neck-thru design with bookmatched wings. Check out my video below showing the process of building this guitar as well as a demo.”
