Tesseract drummer Jay Postones has teamed up with Toontrack for a groovy new MIDI drum set aptly titled Progressive Metal 2 MIDI. Much like Progressive Metal 1, this follow-up offers drum grooves and fills inspired by modern progressive metal performed by Postones himself in halftime and midtempo feel in straight 3/4 and 4/4, and at tempos ranging from 108 BPM to 188 BPM.
“This time, I wanted to take it a step further and really focus on groove, because that is the most important aspect of any song,” said Postones.
