The M-400HT offers a solid Mahogany body attached to a bolt-on, three-piece Maple neck carved into ESP’s Extra Thin U profile. A satin finish on the back keeps everything feeling smooth and unrestricted, while the Rosewood fingerboard and extra-jumbo frets give you ample space to perform shred-related activities.
When it comes to tone, ESP leaned on one of the most battle-tested pickup combinations in metal history: an EMG 85 and an EMG 81 in the bridge. Because this is a metal guitar, and that’s what put in ’em’ goddammit!
