OLIVIA RODRIGO Is Rocking A Purple St. Vincent Goldie On Tour And It Looks Awesome

Pop artist Olivia Rodrigo is introducing millions of young fans to the world of guitar-driven music, which is awesome and I will not hear otherwise. I know some of y’all are about to come in here with ten gallons of Haterade, but you’re wrong – pop artists showing impressionable young fans the world of riffs is always and forever fantastic.

Anyway, Rodrigo seems to have a custom shop version of the Ernie Ball Music Man St. Vincent Goldie in a majestically purple finish and I’m really hoping it becomes a production model soon. Just like I’m still waiting for that H.E.R. Fender, but hey – can’t have everything.

The Ernie Ball Music Man Goldie employs a lightweight Okoume body, roasted figured Maple neck with reversed headstock, and a Rosewood or ebony fretboard depending on which body color you choose.

The Ernie Ball Music Man Goldie also features three newly-designed Ernie Ball Music Man gold foil mini humbucking pickups with a pretty retro looking cover and an intuitive 5-way switching arrangement to give you a variety of tones. The Goldie is available in Cashmere, Velveteen, and Silk Charmeuse for $2,999 here.

There’s also an affordable Sterling By Music Man version of the St. Vincent Goldie model. The Sterling By Music Man Goldie offers a Nyatoh body with a Roasted Maple neck, a reverse headstock, and three gold foil mini humbuckers all controlled by a 5-way switch. Other appointments include custom artist inlays, locking tuners, and a vintage tremolo. Get one here for $829.99.
