Legendary brand Neve is getting into the digital audio interface game with their AMS Neve 88M. The 88M offers the same microphone preamplifier as the world-leading 88R console; microphone, line and DI analog inputs; and two analog inputs via the onboard preamps combined with eight digital inputs via ADAT optical connection to allow for tracking up to ten signals.
Elsewhere, the 88M features a professional headphone amplifier and USB 3.0 connection. Basically, it’s a mini version of the legendary 88R that’ll fit on your desk and won’t cost you a second mortgage. Nothing else is really known about the 88M right now outside a brief landing page posted by Neve, so stay tuned!
