The good news is that MXR is bringing back their Il Torino overdrive pedal as the MXR Gran Torino Boost Overdrive. The bad news is that it’s limited edition and dropping in May, so you’re gonna have to get on this pretty quick.
The MXR Gran Torino Boost Overdrive utilizes MOSFET technology to really take advantage of those tubes, and offers basically the controls you’d expect to see on most pedals – Master Volume and Gain alongside a 3-band EQ and a BOOST/OD switch switch to determine your output mode. The MXR Gran Torino Boost Overdrive uses a Class A Low Impedance Output Driver to preserve the integrity of your sound and prevent signal loss across long FX chains.
