Joey Sturgis Forum Podcast Becomes the Unstoppable Recording Machine Podcast

Joey Sturgis Forum Podcast is now the Unstoppable Recording Machine Podcast! Why did they change their name? Why will the recording machine not stop? What does this mean for the future of the company? Well, meet me at paragraph 2 and I’ll explain.

The Joey Sturgis Podcast is now the Unstoppable Recording Machine Podcast, or URM Podcast for short. Curious as to why they changed the name, I asked our good friend Eyal Levi of nailthemix.com and now the newly renamed Unstoppable Recording Machine (URM for short).
He told me this:

“When it started, the podcast was just for the Joey Sturgis forum. But what we’ve done has grown so far past that, we wanted a name that would reflect the direction of the company. An Unstoppable Recording Machine is what we’re turning all our users and listeners into. So we rebranded as URM and decided that we have so many episodes that why not start releasing older ones on iTunes for free. So we put up everything up until exactly one year ago this week and they’ll be added once per week. We’re still making all the new ones too; in fact, we’ve got some great ones on the way. For example, we just interviewed Kevin Churko yesterday. But to access the premium new ones that’s still only available via http://nailthemix.com

I have been following Joey Sturgis and gang for a while now. On the form, the podcast and Nail The Mix, and I personally can attest to becoming more of an unstoppable recording machine with their help. I have been hoping the podcast would make its way to iTunes since I first started listening to it and they heard my cries! I like to listen to podcasts while I’m driving or working out, and now I can with ease! Yay!

Also with this name change, they are having a giveaway for Focal Alpha 80 Studio Monitors. They are pretty sweet monitors that we have actually reviewed here:
