With the X Series Limited Edition Diablo Kelly HT, Jackson teams up with Blizzard Entertainment to deliver a guitar straight from the depths of hell.
Timed alongside the release of Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred, this limited-edition Kelly channels the mythology of one of gaming’s most enduring franchises into a high-performance instrument built for modern metal players.
Dominating the body is the menacing visage of Mephisto, rendered in full Diablo IV style, with additional artwork on the back and Blood-Red binding wrapping the body, neck, and headstock.
As Jackson’s VP of Product Jon Romanowski puts it, the partnership “fuses the raw, high-performance aggression of Jackson guitars with the dark, immersive mythology of Diablo” – and the result absolutely looks the part.
Underneath the infernal visuals, the Diablo Kelly HT is all business. A Jackson hardtail bridge provides tuning stability and enhanced sustain, making it a reliable platform for aggressive playing. The electronics keep things intentionally streamlined thanks to a set of high-output active pickups controlled by a single volume knob.
This isn’t Jackson’s first trip into Diablo territory, either. Back in 2023, the company released a Custom Shop Diablo IV Kelly in an ultra-limited run of just 10 guitars worldwide. The response was massive – and now, this X Series version brings that same darkness to a much wider audience.
