The Ibanez Mode MDM1006 is a modern 6-string instrument designed for players moving between studio work, touring, and genre-hopping sessions. At its core, the Ibanez Mode MDM1006 is built around a lightweight Alder body that prioritizes comfort over bulk. Paired with a Roasted Maple neck an 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard, it’s just straight up comfortable.
Electronics are where the bass really opens up. A pair of Delta S6J single-coil pickups provide a wide tonal base, while the onboard control set expands that versatility significantly.
A 3-band active EQ allows broad tonal shaping, while a push-pull EQ bypass gives players an immediate route to a more direct, uncolored signal when needed. The 3-way mid-frequency switch adds another layer of control, allowing players to shift the focus of the midrange depending on mix context or playing style.
Hardware support is equally practical. The MR5S bridge provides stable tuning and solid string anchoring, while Ibanez AeroLight tuners help reduce headstock weight and improve overall balance.
