Charvel posted this video of Gojira frontman Joe DuPlantier and his signature “killing machine… with class.” Personally I’d wager that it’s not hard for a guitar to make that claim if it’s being wielded by a member of Gojira, but nonetheless it’s a nice guitar.
The body style is one of Charvel’s “San Dimas” type 2 bodies. DuPlantier goes on to explain that since he turned 30 he likes the more classic body styles. Or maybe he just chose that model because, as we all know… “San Dimas High School Football Rules!”
