ERNIE BALL MUSIC MAN Dresses Up Classic Models for July Ball Family Reserve

Ernie Ball Music Man has just unveiled its July 2021 Ball Family Reserve models, and they’re gorgeous. The July 2021 Ball Family Reserve lineup includes metallic finishes for both the StingRay RS and Cutlass guitars, as well as deluxe versions of the Bongo and StingRay Special HH basses. As usual, the Ball Family Reserve models are limited edition.

The Stingray Special HH Kingpin comes in a Kingpin Matte Black finish with matching headstock, accented with gold hardware and the absence of a pickguard. The Stingray Special HH features an Ash body with a bolt-on Maple neck and Figured Maple fingerboard with 22 high-profile stainless steel frets. The bass is limited to 106 pieces worldwide and is available here for $2,799.

The Cutlass Floyd HSS Bull Head is all about the Sparkle Blue finish with matching headstock, DiMarzio Axis bridge humbucker, and Music Man Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo. The Cutlass Floyd HSS features an Alder body with Figured Maple neck and 22-fret fretboard. The guitar is limited to 65 pieces worldwide and is available here for $2,999.

The StingRay RS Governor comes with a beautiful Governor Silver Burst Finish with matching Black headstock. The StingRay RS Governor features an Okume body with Roasted Figured Maple neck and Ebony fingerboard with standout White Block markers. The guitar is limited to 75 pieces worldwide and is available here for $2,799.

Finally, we’ve got the Bongo 5 HH Crescendo, which comes in a White Sparkle Gloss finish with matching headstock and gold hardware (including the pickup pole pieces). The Bongo 5 HH Crescendo features a Basswood body, Maple ecnk and Roasted Maple fingerboard with 24 wide, high-profile frets. The bass is limited to 66 pieces worldwide and is available here for $2,999.
